Keiynan Lonsdale's Kid Flash Heads to 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' as Series Regular

Keiynan Lonsdale's Kid Flash Heads to 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' as Series Regular

Although he said that Wally Wast wasn’t leaving The Flash, Keiynan Lonsdale just got promoted to a series regular on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

EW reports that Kid Flash will be heading to the series during episode 11, and then be promoted to a full team member by episode 13.

EP Phil Klemmer released a statement on the show jump for Keiynan, saying, “We loved working with Keiynan in our series premiere — the episode in which we learned that in between seasons 2 and 3 he had been fighting crime in Central City with Nick Zano’s Nate Heywood.”

“So when his character stepped away from Flash to go on walkabout, after being dumped and feeling somewhat estranged from his family and team, we knew that Wally West would fit in perfectly on Legends.”

He adds, “After all, our show is about a collection of unlikely heroes who all began their journeys questioning who they are and where they belong — only to find those answers while traveling through time and having wacky adventures.”

“Wally West is not only back in the company of old friends from the Arrowverse, he’s fighting alongside a former enemy and career arsonist Mick Rory/Dom Purcell. By the end of this season, Wally will learn that the Legends have a different definition of what it means to be a hero.”

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will return on Monday, February 12th at 8PM ET/PT on The CW.

Barry Faces Trial For DeVoe's Murder on 'The Flash' - Sneak Peek!

Iris sticks close to husband Barry’s side while arriving at court in this still from tonight’s winter return of The Flash.

If you remember, Barry (Grant Gustin) was tricked by The Thinker and framed for DeVoe’s murder in the episode just before winter break, and instead of fleeing the scene, he stayed and was arrested.

In “The Trial of The Flash”, Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) now must decide how far they are willing to go to keep Barry out of prison

The Flash returns TONIGHT @ 8PM ET/PT on The CW.

The Flash's Keiynan Lonsdale Wouldn't Say No To A Wally West Spinoff

The Flash's Keiynan Lonsdale Wouldn't Say No To A Wally West Spinoff

In the first half of The Flash‘s season four, we saw Wally West get completely heartbroken by his superhero girlfriend, Jessie Quick — and it was then that the character stepped away from the team.

The temporary exit caused many fans to question whether Keiynan Lonsdale was leaving the show and if Wally would be joining DC’s Legends of Tomorrow — but neither is true.

Not even a spinoff about Wally is happening, although, Keiynan wouldn’t say no.

“I don’t expect a Wally West spin off, but it would be cool,” he told Kode mag in his new feature.

He adds about Wally’s future: “Wally and I are in a similar place, he’s on the path to finding himself and he’s giving himself the space to grow and learn beyond what he currently knows.”

“I think it would be awesome to see that journey, to see where his travels take him, and to find out what being a superhero actually means to him,” Keiynan adds. “You can have powers & save the world, but what if even that didn’t fulfill you anymore? You’d need to reassess your values and your views on life.”

The Flash returns NEXT WEEK on Tuesday, January 16th @ 8PM ET/PT on The CW.

Who Is Jessica Parker Kennedy's Mystery Girl on 'The Flash'? No One Actually Knows!

Who Is Jessica Parker Kennedy's Mystery Girl on 'The Flash'? No One Actually Knows!

Jessica Parker Kennedy popped up on The Flash in the most mysterious way during the crossover event and it sounds like she’s going to stay that way when the series returns in January.

The actress’s character is just “Mystery Girl” — no name, no description, according to her.

“It’s really funny,” Jessica shared while speaking with Bustle. “They have me listed as ‘Mystery Girl’ and I just hang out as Mystery Girl on set.”

“Even [the costume department] are like, ‘Who are you?’ And I’m like: ‘I am Mystery Girl.’ It’s been a very secretive mission and it’s been fun to be a part of.”

Jessica added that her Mystery Girl — who could be Dawn Allen, Barry and Iris’ daughter, or even his granddaughter, Jenni Ognats — will be back in future episodes.

“I’ll be around. You’ll see me at least one more time, I can tell you that. You’ll see me again on the show and things will make more sense.”

The Flash will return January 16th on The CW.

Danielle Panabaker Is Still Trying To Get This Killer Frost Question Answered

Danielle Panabaker Is Still Trying To Get This Killer Frost Question Answered

Danielle Panabaker wraps her sweater close while arriving at Craig’s restaurant for dinner out in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (December 5).

The Flash actress, who has wrapped up filming for the year on the series, is actually still trying to get a very important Killer Frost question answered — why is she evil?

Speaking with Syfy Wire, Danielle shared that she wished she “could count the number of times I’ve asked this question because, you know, we read the scripts and obviously it’s up to us to interpret them to the best of our abilities.”

She continues, “I have asked that question many times. The best analogy I’ve gotten is, again, the one we saw in Episode 5, that Jekyll and Hyde.”

“I would still like to see a Killer Frost origin story. I would still like to know why this version of Killer Frost, who lives inside Caitlin, is so evil,” Danielle persists.

“Obviously, again, hopefully, we are seeing some evolution of her character, but I want to know why, right out the gate, she was ready to join forces with Savitar and kill Iris. I don’t know that that’s been explained on the show and it certainly hasn’t been explained to me, either.”

We’re ready for it too.

Barry & Iris' Honeymoon Gets Interrupted In 'The Flash' Deleted Scene

Barry & Iris' Honeymoon Gets Interrupted In 'The Flash' Deleted Scene

Grant Gustin and Candice Patton wear their best tropical outfits in this deleted scene from last night’s The Flash fall finale.

In the clip, via TVLine, Barry and Iris are required to flash into S.T.A.R. Labs after a Level 11 emergency is accidentally activated.

Since the newlyweds are on their honeymoon and no one else is in the lab, Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) decides to take advantage and watch some Netflix, but triggers an alarm instead. As you can imagine, Iris is less than thrilled to have to come back for something not so emergency-related.

“Do you know how hard it is to run in flip flops?” Barry says at the end of the clip. LOL!

Caitlin Snow Gets Kidnapped on Tonight's 'The Flash' - Sneak Peek here!

Caitlin Snow Gets Kidnapped on Tonight's 'The Flash' - Sneak Peek here!

Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) is having a more resentment party over Killer Frost in a new clip from tonight’s new Flash.

After a pep talk from Harry (Tom Cavanagh), she starts to feel better about the situation she’s been handed…but then Amunet (Katee Sackhoff) makes her appearance known to everyone there and it doesn’t bode well.

On top of that, The Thinker (Neil Sandilands) traps The Flash (Grant Gustin) in a speedster-proof prison — and with the clock ticking, the team doesn’t have the time or resources to track both Caitlin and Barry so Iris (Candice Patton) is forced to choose who to save.

We do NOT want to be Iris in this situation.

The Flash airs TONIGHT @ 8PM ET/PT on The CW.
